On Monday Franklin Park Scholar Bowl competed against Nashville and Centralia Jr. High at home. The JV team lost to Nashville 60-115. Colton Smith, Abby Clark and Steven Slininger answered one toss-up each.
In the second match Franklin Park lost to CJHS 70-95. Abby Clark answered two toss-ups and Liam Morris and Colton Smith each answered one.
Our V scholar bowl had a very successful outing! First, we defeated Nashville 100-80. Max Vincent and Preston Camp answered two toss-ups each and Logan McKinley answered one.
In the match against CJHS the final score was 95-50. Max Vincent and Preston Camp answered two toss-ups each and Mia Burkett answered one.
On Tuesday Franklin Park Scholar Bowl competed against Raccoon and Selmaville. In a very close match the JV team lost to Raccoon 60-65. Steven Slininger answered two toss-ups. Colton Smith and Liam Morris each answered one.
In the second match Franklin Park defeated Selmaville 145-90. Colton Smith answered four toss-ups, Liam Morris answered three and Chance Merrill answered one.
Our V scholar bowl continued its winning streak by defeating Raccoon and Selmaville. First, in a come-from-behind win we defeated Raccoon 85-70. Preston Camp answered three toss-ups and Max Vincent answered two.
In the match against Selmaville the final score was 105-80. Max Vincent and Preston Camp answered two toss-ups each and Matthew Miraglia answered one. It was a great team effort!
