The Odin Fire Department has awarded three of its members top awards for their work in 2022.
The department has named Brandon Moore Fireman of the Year, Kanon Moore as Rookie of the Year, and Austin Perkins as First Responder of the Year.
Fire Chief Greg Smith says the department had another busy year, responding to a total of 278 calls.
In district calls included three structure fires, eight field and brush fires, seven good intent calls, two hazardous conditions calls, and one vehicle fire. There were also 208 rescues and EMS calls.
The department also offered mutual aid assistance to other departments 38 times, including 19 for structure fires and 14 for woods and brush fires.
Members of the Odin Fire Department completed 2352 hours of training in 2022.
