Both Salem and Centralia have announced that the fall leaf vac service will end next Friday, December 16th.
In Salem, the final collection will be on your normal garbage collection day. In Centralia, the last collections next week will begin at 6:00 a.m. and will end by 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday only on your regular trash collection day.
Bagged lawn waste will continue to be collected year-round in both cities. In addition, the City of Centralia offers burn weekends. The schedule is on the city’s website.
