He was born on December 21, 1954, the son of Paul Fred and Fidelis Victoria (Fohne) Vosholler in Breese. He married Sonja Sheri Sundell on September 4, 1983, in Sparks, NV, and she survives him in Patoka.

Along with his devoted wife of 40 years, Bob is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Kline of Carlyle, Jill Tweedy and husband Travis of Carlyle, Debra Dalton and husband Brandon of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Kylee Kline, Kori Kline, Casandra Lindley, Johnnie Lindley, Makhenna Lindley, Jersey Tweedy, Willow Tweedy, Aidyn Tweedy, Warren Dalton, and Sarah Dalton; great-grandchild, Teigan Newcomb and expecting his second great-grandchild; brothers, Ray Vosholler of Sandoval, Joe Vosholler and wife Mary of Vernon, and John Vosholler and wife Mitzie of Vernon; sisters, Carol Thompson and husband Jim of Centralia, and Betty Onken and husband Dan of Rapid City, SD; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob was a good man, with a strong work ethic. After a hard day of work driving a truck, he enjoyed getting in the tractor to farm and take care of his cattle. He was an excellent protector and provider for his family, and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his wife, daughters, and grandkids. Bob enjoyed the simple things in life, such as hanging out in the shed drinking a cold stag and telling stories with friends and family. He loved the recreational activity of hunting and fishing with family. Bob will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, way of making others feel at ease, and his love for his big dog.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carlyle with Father George Mauck officiating. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation time from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church in Carlyle. In Bob’s honor, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and will be accepted for the family at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka.
