Salem Police arrested a 35-year-old Lake Station, Indiana man for possession of a stolen vehicle. Police Chief Kyle Ambuehl said they had received notification that John Cox may be in the area and when an officer saw a vehicle and license plates that matched the wanted information Cox was taken into custody without incident at a gas pump at a Westside convenience store. Cox is also being held for questioning by Indiana authorities.
Salem Police arrested a 25-year-old homeless Salem man for felony retail theft and criminal trespass. Brian Scott was taken into custody after allegedly taking items from Moto Mart on West Main where he had earlier been banned.
25-year-old Zachary Wright of Marion was arrested by Centralia Police for aggravated domestic battery.
21-year-old Cayleb Price of North Elm in Centralia was taken to the Marion County Jail after being arrested by Centralia Police for aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to state-supported property.
31-year-old Ashley Bryan of Reserve State in Wamac has been arrested by Centralia Police for alleged domestic battery.
56-year-old Tracy Behringer of South Maple in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant. Bond is set at $15,000.
22-year-old Robert Rodriquez Junior of McLeansboro was arrested by State Police for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was later released from the Marion County Jail on a notice to appear.
