The Marion County Farm Bureau has announced a $5,000 donation to the organization’s Agriculture in the Classroom program.
Corteva Agriscience has made the contribution through their Community Betterment Program.
The award is given to community programs that focus on enabling youth and engaging communities.
Ag in the Classroom Teacher Meggan Hiestand says the award gives them the opportunity to continue to provide free educational resources and programs about agriculture for youth and offer classroom grants to local teachers.
The Ag in the Classroom program is giving a big thank you to Pioneer Seeds and Corteva Agriscience for supporting this effort and a very big thank you to Marion County Pioneer Sales Reps Andrew Richardson and Vernon Quandt for given them the opportunity.
