2023 10/28 – Ada Belle Wiedemann

Ada Belle (Henry) Wiedemann, age 91 of Salem, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Twin Willows Nursing Center.

Ada was born on March 12, 1932, in Chandler, Oklahoma the daughter of Howard and Opal (DeBoard) Henry. She married Herman Wiedemann Jr. on June 17, 1951, in Mt. Vernon and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Robert “Bob” Wiedemann of Nashville, Keith Wiedemann of Salem, Dwain Wiedemann of Buffalo, TX, Rebecca Cross and husband Michael of Mt. Vernon, and Ruth Hammons and husband Mike of Liberty, MO; grandchildren, Amy Zanton and husband Jay, Aaron Wiedemann, Shawn Hammons, and Jonathan Hammons; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Andrew, and Callen; one sister, Mary Helen Hansen of Bella Vista, AR; and one brother, Delbert Henry of St. Charles, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Edwin Henry and Lloyd Henry.

Ada was a member of the Open Arms Fellowship in Salem.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a pianist and organist throughout her life in various churches.

Graveside funeral services for Ada Belle Wiedemann will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Paradise Cemetery in Salem.  Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.  Online condolences can be left at www.CrouseFH.com
