Jeffrey Duane Copple, 52, of Oldsmar, Florida, passed away on October 7, 2023, at his home.
Born on May 11, 1971, in Florissant, Missouri, Jeffrey was the beloved son of Jim and Patricia (Baxter) Copple. He is survived by his cherished son, Colton Copple, who resides in Florida, and his loving parents, Jim and Patricia Copple, of Florissant, Missouri. In addition, he leaves behind his brother, Craig Copple, and his wife Angela, of North Liberty, Iowa, and a sister, Suzanne Kastner, and her husband Chris, of St. Charles, Missouri. Jeffrey is also survived by a nephew and two nieces.
Jeffrey’s journey through life was marked by his passion for soccer, which began during his time at Hazelwood West High School, where he was an active member of the youth soccer team and a traveling team. He furthered his education at Southwest Missouri University on scholarship before transferring to the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he graduated with degrees in Business and Psychology. His deep love for sports extended to playing golf with his father.
Professionally, Jeffrey worked for a business consulting firm based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His job took him to various plant locations across the United States and even on international assignments, including visits to Italy and southern Argentina.
A funeral service to honor the life of Jeffrey Duane Copple will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Boyd Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and offer condolences at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, starting at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeffrey’s memory can be made to the Siteman Cancer Center and will be gratefully received at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, where the family is being assisted with the arrangements.
