Ricky L. Prosise, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, in Centralia.Ricky was born on June 13, 1963, in Centralia, the son of Alen K. Prosise and Carolyn F. (Stinde) Prosise and they preceded him in death.Ricky is survived by the love of his life: Sherry Ewald of Centralia; son: Brent Prosise; one brother: Dennis Prosise and wife Robin Charleston, SC; two nieces: Allison McCutchen and husband James and Savanna Prosise and fiancé Colins Edwards; and three great nieces and nephews: Landon McCutchen, Cason McCutchen, and Emery McCutchen.Ricky was in the Army National Guard in his younger years. He was also a graduate of Southern Illinois University. He worked for General Tire for 17 years. He loved all things with motors from cars and trucks to boats. He also enjoyed guns. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded for Ricky Prosise and a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Sherry Ewald and can be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia IL 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Prosise family.
