Tina Scribner, 55, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
Tina was born September 27, 1967, in Centralia, the daughter of Homer Zachies and Jean (Vaughn) Millikan.
Tina is survived by her son: Steven Mays of Kinmundy; daughter: Tawnee Bailey and wife Isabell Davis; and three grandchildren: Xander Grigsby, Joshua Mays, and Skylar Campbell.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Steve Millikan.
Tina was a kind soul and had a gentle heart. She could be easily described as a caring and loving individual. She helped anyone who needed it. She loved animals and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Per Tina Scribner’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held at this time. Memorial donations can be made to her family with checks payable to Tawnee Bailey and can be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801, who is honored to be of service to Tina’s family.
