Beverly Kirgan, 76, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly was born October 27, 1946, in Centralia, the daughter of William I. Wilkey and Mae (Estes) Wilkey.
Beverly is survived by two sons: Richard Kirgan and wife Melissa of Salem, and Ronald Kirgan and wife Alichia of Centralia; one daughter: Brenda Grasher and husband Mike of Centralia; nine grandchildren: Jared Kirgan and Breanna of Salem, Roger McKinley of Iowa, Michael McKinley and Amanda of Woodlawn, Sarah Finn and Daniel of Mt. Vernon, Justin Hediger of Centralia, Nova Kirgan of Centralia, Harley Mingus of Salem, Rachel Orrell and Travis of Patoka, and Kaitlyn Brown and Dakota of Patoka; 18 great-grandchildren Emma, Ella, Gaige, Gavin, Gannon, Garret, Anzleigh, Alleigh, Arleigh, Adaleigh, Layke, Carter, Logan, Jaxon, Brianna, Hunter, Raelynn, and Nolan; brother Randy Wilkey and wife Susan of Centralia; sister-in-law Reta Wilkey of Centralia; special aunt: Joann Blackwell of Centralia; many nieces and nephews; and special friends: Connie, Marilyn, Cassie, Jessica, and Annie.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents: William and Mae; infant daughter: Diana Denise; brothers: Gary Wilkey and Charles “Butch” Wilkey, and son-in-law Billy Shehorn.
Beverly was a CNA for over 30 years, helping many patients over the years. In her past time, she enjoyed sewing and quilting. She enjoyed watching Cardinals Baseball and was an avid card player. Her family was everything to Beverly. She enjoyed visiting with them any time she could. She enjoyed dinners with the family, and creating many wonderful memories with them. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., with a visitation from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia.
