The Iuka Park Demolition Derby is set for Saturday.
Gates open at nine am for sign-up and the derby begins at two.
There will be five divisions.
- The light modified big cars with 100 percent payback
- Any year stock class with first place prize of $1,000, 2nd place $500, and 3rd place $300. If there are 25 or more cars, the payout will be increased.
- Mini Cars with 1st place prize of $500, 2nd place prize of $200 and 3rd place prize of $100.
- Mini Van/SUV/Mini Truck will have a 100-percent payback.
- Gut and go mini with a 100-percent payback.
The Iuka Park committee will also be serving homemade ice cream and a variety of food and refreshments.
All proceeds go into improvements to the Iuka Park.
