A 36-year-old rural Odin man escaped injury but was arrested for alleged driving under the influence following a single car crash on US 51 near Community Beach Road north of Central City.
Initial information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates the car driven by Garrett Talbert of Alma Hatchery Road overturned in the middle of the highway. He was able to get out of the car on his own.
The crash occurred at 6:24 Thursday morning. US 51 was closed to traffic for just over an hour.
Sandoval and Centralia City Firemen, on mutual aid, responded to the scene.
