Allison Slusher Opolony, 43, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.She was born June 5, 1980, in Centralia, the daughter of Ronald Dean Slusher and Alice Kay (Clark) Slusher. She married Jason Opolony on April 2, 2013, and he survives.In addition to her mother: Alice Slusher of Centralia and her husband of 10 years: Jason Opolony of Centralia, Allison is survived by her four children: Nicholas Slusher of Irvington, Kira Gordon of Centralia, Chase Gordon of Centralia, and Riley Gordon of Centralia; two step sons: Dalyn Opolony of Salem and Gavyn Opolony of Sedalia, MO; brother: Ronald Slusher and wife Sheri of Rantoul; sister: Christina Slusher and Quincy Jones of Centralia; several nieces and nephews; and best friend: Beth Bourque of Centralia.She was preceded in death by her father: Ronald Dean Slusher and sister: Nedra Slusher.Allison worked at Rumors for several years. She loved her children, family, and friends. She cherished the time she spent with everyone.A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Mimi Hawkins officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her children’s college fund and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Allison’s Family.
