On 7 September 2023, Karen Shelton, the beloved matriarch of the Shelton family, passed from the world, suddenly and far too soon. She was adored by her family and friends, which are spread out over many states, but forever bound closely together by our fond memories of her. We have all been blessed to know Karen and our hearts ache at the prospect of continuing on without her presence in our lives.
The scope of her kindness was so great and pure that it will surely continue to be felt through the lives of those who knew her for decades to come. It was truly an honor to walk the Earth with a person of her caliber. We love and miss her deeply.
The family is coping with the enormity of our loss. We thank you for all your love and understanding during this difficult time.
There are no funeral arrangements pending at this time, as per Karen’s wishes. Condolences may be expressed through donations to the Centralia Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
