Victor Manuel Velazquez, 13, of Centralia, gained his angel wings on September 3, 2023, peacefully at home with his family by his side.
Victor was born September 6, 2009, in Saginaw, MI, the son of Pablo Velazquez and Elizabeth Elizarraraz.
Victor is survived by his parents: Pablo and Elizabeth, brothers: Danny Aguilar and Brian Velazquez, sisters: Arizoni Evilsizer, and Juliet Velazquez, and uncle: Lucio Velazquez.
Victor was a great son, brother, and friend. He was known to always have a smile on his face. He loved the Minions. He was also known as a fighter and fought his whole life while still keeping a big smile on his face. He had a great support system from his family and the #VillageForVictorFamily.
Per the family’s wishes, private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Elizabeth Elizarraraz, and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801, who is honored to be of service to the Velazquez family.
