After the Saturday evening balloon flight was canceled due to thunderstorm activity in the region, a wait allowed a window to open to hold a shortened Balloon Glow.  Another wait Sunday morning allowed the balloons to have a successful flight Sunday morning which is the last scheduled for Balloon Fest this year.

The crowd for the Saturday night glow seemed to be larger than normal after a crowd estimated at more than 10,000 attended the first glow on Friday night.  In addition to the main glows, a drive-through handicapped glow was held by several balloonists in Fairview Park for those unable to get to Foundation Park.

The balloons on Sunday morning flew east and northeast out of Foundation Park where the balloonists gathered after the original launch time was delayed due to the cloud cover.
