H. G. Lee, 50, of Centralia passed away August 12, 2023, at home.

He was born on August 14, 1972, to Harry Paul and Loretta Jean (Johnson) Lee. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia. He married Patricia (Wells) Lee on September 5, 1992, she was his beloved wife of 31 years, and she survives him in Centralia.

H. G. is also survived by his children, April Dillinger of Salem, Brittany LaBelle of Centralia, Autumn Lee of Centralia, Chloe Lee of Centralia, Teddy Rodgers of Centralia; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren all of Centralia; siblings, Lenore Garrison, Hartzel Cottrill, Judy Sims, Mike Cottrill, Harold Cottrill, Mary Kimmel, Wanda Ehrhart, Ronnie Lee, and Sam Lee.

H. G. was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Paul and Loretta Jean Lee; a son, Zachariah Lee; and brother, Dennis Lee.

H. G. was of the Christian faith. He will be remembered for his love of time spent outdoors, tearing up trails on his ATV, and horseback riding. He enjoyed relaxing with an ice-cold cowboy soda after a good day of work or play. H. G. loved the game of football, eagerly waiting for the season to begin each year so he could cheer on his favorite team, the Los Angeles Rams. He was the best grandpa to his cherished grandchildren, always taking the time to listen to their stories, share in their interests, teach them all his tricks, and make sure they knew they were loved.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia. Interment will follow at Wolfe Prairie Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation time from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, and one hour prior to the service time on Friday at the funeral home in Centralia.
