The Kaskaskia College Music Department is seeking community musicians to join their ensembles as they prepare for the 2022-23 performance season.
The KC Music Department offers many quality ensembles for students and community members. The instrumental and choral ensembles present concerts featuring the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir, KC Blues, and Community Chorale. The concerts are designed to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the community.
The Kaskaskia College Music Department opens its ensembles to any community members who wish to share their time and talents with the college’s traditional students and participate in these quality groups. The groups are also open to high school-age students upon the recommendation of their ensemble director. The connection to the community contributes to the college’s lifelong learning mission and provides students with a rich musical experience.
