Connie (Hendricks) Jackson passed away at Daybreak Nursing Home in Miner, MO on July 28th, 2023.
She was born on February 19th, 1951 to Richard Charles Hendricks and Doris Maxine (Arnold) Hendricks in Centralia, IL. Connie married her husband Gary Jackson on December 1st, 1990 in Carmi, Illinois.Connie lived in Centralia for most of her life, until she moved to Carmi, IL, and finally settled down in Matthews, MO.Along with her husband, Connie is survived by her children; Mike Runyon, Raylee Altom and husband Billy Altom, Quinton Runyon and wife Sara Runyon, Terry Jackson and wife Mara Jackson, Barry Jackson and wife Jennifer Jackson, Scott Jackson and wife Jessica Jackson, Rob Jackson and wife Erin Jackson, Barb Wheeler and husband Wade Wheeler; brother Albert Hendricks; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; life-long friend Sherry Patterson; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Richard Hendricks II, a few nieces and nephews, a few sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law.Connie was a deep-rooted family woman. She loved and adored everything about her family. From family gatherings to playing rummy with the kids, she loved and enjoyed every second of being a part of her family. Her grandchildren were her world. She was strong in her faith and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.A memorial service for Connie will be held at City Hope Church on August 10th, 2023 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at a later date.
