The Marion County Fair Demolition Derby was performed to a full grandstand Friday night.
In the stock car class, Brandon Dodson of Texico took best of show and finished fourth. The winner was Kyle Simonton of Odin. Cody Simonton of Odin was second and Tyson Minor of Odin third. Carson Smith of Salem was fifth.
In the mini car class, Justin Patten of Sandoval won best of show and took third place. Dylan Rowcliff of Centralia won the event. Austin Rowcliff of Centralia was second and Chris Rakers of Beckemeyer was fourth.
Before the main event, kids in the grandstand were invited down to do a little crashing themselves in the Hemi Motosports Power Wheels.
