A 49-year-old Centralia man pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to one of two aggravated battery to a police officer charges pending against him.

David Cluck of North Cherry Street was placed on 18 months probation, ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, abstain from drugs with testing, and complete the men’s challenging violence program.

Cluck was arrested after Centralia Police received a call to a domestic disturbance at his home last October and allegedly became violent with a Centralia officer and Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputy who responded to the call. The Centralia officer received a cut to the forearm when a door broke during the altercation.

The second count of aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting a peace officer were dropped as part of the plea agreement.
