Two Centralia men face multiple Class X drug charges in Clinton County Court for possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl following a traffic stop by New Baden Police where a large amount of drugs were seized.
Both 36-year-old Brandon McMullin and 45-year-old Joshua Phelps of West 7th in Centralia are charged with Class X charges of possession with intent to deliver 100 to 400 grams of methamphetamine, possession of between 100 and 400 grams of methamphetamine, and manufacture or delivery of fentanyl. In addition, each also faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Bond for McMullin was set at $100,000 and bond for Phelps at $75,000. Both were ordered to be on home confinement if released on bond and to abstain from drugs with random testing.
Both were taken into custody following an early Monday morning.
