The Salem area was well represented at the recently held 2022 USBC Junior Gold Tournament as well as other events held in Michigan. 8 bowlers earned scholarship money for their Junior Gold finishes.
Dominick Winkler and Gavin Winkler finished in 2nd place in the U18 boys division of the Adult/Youth Bakers Tournament. Nate Myers is currently in 12th in the U18 boys division of the Survivor Tournament with a 235.8 average.
All 3 of our U15 boys bowlers averaged over 200 in the Survivor Tournament and are currently in the top 26% of competitors.
This was also the first Jr Gold experience for five Salem bowlers including Rhett Detering, Ryan Detering and Silas Moats in the U15B, Nick Gregg in the U18B and Elena Vanhoutin in the U18 girls.
