Police Beat for Wednesday, July 20th, 2022

Centralia Police have arrested a 25-year-old Centralia man for aggravated battery.   Nathan Bailey of North Poplar was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 61-year-old Bruce Workman of Oak Mound Lane in Flora for alleged domestic battery following a domestic disturbance at a home in the 7800 block of Sinclair Road in rural Kinmundy.

Centralia Police arrested 42-year-old Jessica Phillips of East 13th in Junction City on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant with bond set at $15,000.

44-year-old Holly Burnett of South Elm in Centralia is being held in the Marion County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has two theft complaints under investigation.  A resident in the 1600 block of Green Street Road east of Central City reported a weed eater, chain saw, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, laptop computer, change jar, and Mongoose bicycle stolen from their garage.  A resident in the 2800 block of Choteau Avenue in rural Odin reported tools stolen during the past week from their residence.
