Bond has been set at $50,000 for a 48-year-old Carlyle man formally charged in Marion County Court on Monday with possession with intent to deliver 15 to 100 grams of methamphetamine and possession of the same amount of the drug.
Robert Wells of Lincoln Street was arrested by Centralia Police after they investigated a suspicious person in the 800 block of South Hickory Street.
Police say they allegedly found a total of six baggies of what field tested as methamphetamine in his possession weighing a total of 30.7 grams. They also seized $2,286 in cash from his wallet.
Wells had the public defender appointed to represent him.
