A 30-year-old Centralia man has been charged with four felony offenses in Marion County Court in the aftermath of an alleged domestic dispute that later involved an attempt to keep from being taken into custody.

Bryce McCray of Cormick Street was charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer after allegedly striking one Centralia Police officer in the arm and another in the hand when they attempted to get him out of his car after taking a domestic battery complaint against him.  McCray then allegedly resisted being handcuffed injuring the hand of one of the officers.

The domestic battery charge for allegedly striking the female victim in the face was a felony due to a prior conviction.  The resisting/obstructing arrest charge was a felony due to the officer being injured.

The incident occurred earlier this month.

McCray has been given a notice to appear on the charges for July 19th.
