Salem Police arrested 41-year-old Michael Bartley of North Dawley in Salem for alleged battery and aggravated domestic battery. The victim told police several incidents occurred over a few day period. Bartley was arrested at his home Monday night.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 42-year-old Curtis Scott of Nebraska Street in Sandoval for alleged aggravated domestic battery.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of parts of a carport from a home in the 2400 block of Hoots Chapel Road in rural Odin.
The owner reported after being disassembled, some parts were stolen but the metal roof and a few bottom sections of the frame were left behind.
The Sheriff’s Department is also investigating vandalism and the theft of three gallons of gas from a tractor parked off the Red Stripe Road in rural Sandoval. The owner reported the gas line and sediment bowl were damaged in the apparent effort to get to the gasoline. Damage to the tractor is placed at $100.
