Centralia’s new Fire Chief Jeff Day has announced two promotions made possible by his recent promotion to chief.
Day has announced Lieutenant Blake Perez will be promoted to the rank of Captain and Firefighter John Cavaletto will advance to the rank of Lieutenant.
Perez and Cavaletto will be sworn in to their new positions during a ceremony one Thursday afternoon at Centralia City Hall.
Day was recently named as chief replacing John Lynch, who retired.
