A ten-year member of the Kell Fire Department has been promoted to the lieutenant’s position.
Kyle Boozer first joined the department in August 2012. He’s been responsible for the maintenance on the department’s self- contained breathing apparatus (air packs) for many years.
Fire Chief Lonnie McDaneld says this is a very huge responsibility due to the fact that while in a burning structure a firefighter depends on their SCBA to supply the air needed to stay alive.
The Kell Fire District has also received a painting from Seth Morgan to show an appreciation for the service the fire department provides to the area.
