An incumbent Republican Marion County Board member has lost his seat in a four-way race for the three seats open in County Board District two.
Wesley Gozia finished with 632 votes. The three winning candidates were incumbent Dr. Creighton Engel with 1,006 votes, Jackie (Jack) Riley with 960 votes, and appointed incumbent Deborah Reed with 931 votes.
There was also a contested Republican county board race in District one. The winners were Brock Waggoner with 927 votes, Sharon Woodward with 912 votes, and Tracy Lamont Murray with 875 votes. The candidate not winning a seat was Michael Gray who finished with 774 votes.
The winning candidates now advance to the November general election.
