Bond has been set at $150,000 for a 48-year-old Sandoval man who was formally charged in Marion County Court on Tuesday with burglary.

Michael Flanagan of Isle Street is accused of entering a building in the 800 block of Burge Road east of Centralia.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies had been called to a burglary in progress and Flanagan was arrested at the scene.  After calling the sheriff’s department the building owner and his daughter hid in the woods until help arrived.

The sheriff’s department later went to Flanagan’s home to serve a search warrant, but his wife allowed deputies to enter.  They allegedly found items believed to have been stolen in burglaries, including from the property on Burge Road.

Flanagan had a public defender appointed to represent him.  If released on bond, he was ordered to have no contact with the property owners.
