A Central City man was able to walk out of his home after a large tree fell across the back of his home destroying it during the severe thunderstorms that crossed the area around six Friday morning.
Central City Police say Nicholas Palazzolo was able to get out of the home in the 300 block of East Prarie on his own uninjured.
The large tree also became entangled with power lines complicating its removal.
