The SC 14u Storm Chasers had a tough weekend at the Jacksonville Tournament going 1-3 on the weekend. SC lost to the BNBA Renegades on Sunday 8-1. Ian Jones tripled home a run for SC’s only tally.
SC did win their opening game on Sunday over the Central Illinois Yankees 9-7. SC trailed 7-5 in the 6th inning when they would score 4 times to take the lead. Braden Rector drove in a run and scored twice, Cody Beard added an RBI, Brody Collier went 2-3 with 2 RBI.
SC dropped both games on Saturday falling to the West Central Elite 9-0 and the Future Swings 11-6.
