Family looking for missing Clay City woman who disappeared from her home last month

The family of a 26-year-old woman with reduced mental capacity who resides in Clay City is seeking the public’s help in locating her.

A family member says Shadie Thomas lived with her mother and is believed to have left the home without being seen through the kitchen door after dinner the evening of May 6th with no confirmed sighting since.  She is said to have the mental capacity of a 12 to 14-year-old and has never been on her own.

The family believes she is in serious danger.

The woman is described as a white female, five feet ten inches tall, weighing 300 pounds with long straight brown shoulder-length hair.   She has piercing blue eyes and prescription glasses.   The woman was last seen in Baby Yoda Pajama bottoms and a sky blue Columbia Jacket.
