2023 06/07 – Rodney Lew Wilkins

Rodney Lew Wilkins, 68 of Belvidere, Illinois, and formerly of Iuka, Illinois passed away June 4, 2023, at the Swedish American Hospital in Belvidere.

Born May 6, 1955, in Salem, Illinois, he was the son of Lew Daniel and Lola Lorraine (Hinkle) Wilkins and they preceded him in death.

There will be a graveside service at the Iuka Cemetery to be announced at a later date by the Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, 310 N. Broadway, P.O. Box 97, Salem, IL 62881 (618) 548-1234, entrusted with the family’s care. Scott McKenzie will officiate. Rodney was a laborer working on drilling rigs.

Survivors include his brother Bruce Wilkins and wife Barbara of Iuka, IL.
