Fulton said he wasn’t sure what to expect when he applied for the job.
“I got the job that I came to really love. I love being a crop specialist at FS but I really love dealing with kids, faculty, and coaches.”
Fulton was at Salem High School for 20 years, retiring at the end of last year.
Two teachers who are leaving the district were also thanked for their work. Science Teacher and Boys Soccer Coach Ford Barnfield is resigning to go to Columbia High School. Consumer Science teacher Kari Thackery is resigning to take a position in her hometown of Flora.
