Salem Police arrested a 47-year-old Mt. Vernon man for alleged criminal trespass to land and resisting arrest after being called to a home in the 200 block of West Warmoth for an unwanted person.
Police say when Robert Henderson of Casey Avenue made no attempt to leave he was taken into custody and then allegedly tried to keep officers from placing him in the squad car.
Henderson was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a final decision on charges.
