Sandoval Elementary School recognized the Students of the Month for May. The students were chosen because of their outstanding display of CITIZENSHIP, such as taking care of the community, showing respect and devotion to one’s country, having a willingness to give their time and talents to help others, and following the laws and rules even when out of school. The assembly this month was sponsored by Day Macz Funeral Home of Sandoval.
Those selected were Adalyn Winegarner, Axl Lomax, Paxton Thorton, Bryce Baker, Heavenly Lafour, Skyler Helm, Benson Orrill, Avree Winegarner, Kyle Knott-Hodge, Blake McClelland, Makenzie Pitts, Khoel Clanton, “Junior” Reyes-Tiburcio, Nathan Morris, Wyatt Foster and Khloe McWhirter.
