The Salem 11u Wildcats traveled to the Toledo Tournament this weekend and fell in the championship game to Jasper County 8-7. In the loss, Jax Schaubert and Colton Tockstein drove in 2 runs each. Owen Tennyson, Rhett Starnes and Jared Crompton added RBI.
This was after Salem beat Flora in the semifinals 13-1. Tennyson homered and doubled twice as he drove in 3 and scored 3 times. Bentley Bryan added 2 RBI along with Zane Applegate and Tockstein. Jax Schaubert added an RBI along with Kaig Graham, Tripp Garden and Jared Crompton.
On Saturday, Salem beat the Crush 9-5 and Jasper County 3-2.
