A 22-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for alleged domestic battery. Dalton Crabtree of South Cherry was taken to the Marion County Jail pending a decision on formal charges.
48-year-old Mary Nevells of East Kerr in Centralia was arrested by Salem Police for alleged possession of under five grams of methamphetamine and on a Marion County failure to appear warrant in a retail theft case. The bond on the warrant is set at $2,500.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of over $1,200 in cash from a home on Edgewood Road outside the Salem City Limits. The resident reported they had someone watching their dog over the weekend and she apparently let company over. The theft was discovered around 5:30 Sunday night.
