The Salem Lady Cats had a 4-3 lead heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, but Flora plated 2 and earned the 5-4 victory over Salem. Maya Susmena hit her first career homerun, a 3-run shot.
Salem returns to action today when they host the Addy and Friends Playground Fundraising Round Robin. The first pitch will be thrown out by some special kids at 9:50 before games at 10 and 11:45. Salem will welcome Greenville, Carlyle and Wesclin out at Tully Park.
South Central plays at the Olney Classic today.
