At the Little League Complex in Junior League play, Casey’s beat Salem Tire 9-3. Eli Lograsso was the winning pitcher surrendering 3 runs on 2 hits over 4.2, striking out 11. Zane Dodson took the loss going 4 innings allowing 7 hits and 8 runs but did strike out 10. Casey’s had 7 hits on the night with Lograsso and Angel Salgado managing multiple hits.
In Minors play, Squibb Tank nipped Security Alarm 5-4. The winning pitcher was Kolten Calhoun who came in to relieve Tanner Purintun and had 5 strikeouts over 2 innings. Myles Donoho had a double and 2 runs scored. Purintun doubled, singled and scored 2 runs while driving in another 2. Eli Purdy had a home run and 2 RBI. Grant Squibb had a hit and drove in a run. EJ Wolfe, Lucas Howe and Jaden Page also had hits. In the loss, Cooper Burkett took the loss in relief of Emit Gibson. They combined for 12 strikeouts on the mound. Gibson had a 3-run homer. Izac Holsapple, Devon Jennings and Burkett each had a hit.
In girls coach pitch, Allstate Insurance beat Medicine Shoppe 11-0. Alexis Henseler had 4 hits to help All State. Julianna Rushing singled on the first pitch of the at bat to score a run in the first inning. Abbie Haines and Henseler had big RBI in a 3 run 3rd.
Fabick lost to Somer Real Estate. In the loss, Fabick got singles from Kinleigh Barton, Alli Bishop, Emerie Cluck, Tamryn Engel, Izzy Hall, Abrianna Hamilton, Emma Hummel, Raegan Matthews, Juliette Scarlett and Harlow Tellefsen.
