The Salem Wildcats had their game with Roxana canceled yesterday due to the rain. With prom tonight, the Cats will be off this weekend and set up a very busy final regular season week next week. Salem will host Wood River Tuesday, Patoka/Odin/Sandoval on Wednesday; they will host Roxana Thursday, play at Flora on Friday and finish the regular season with a trip to the Ish Smith Tournament in Greenville next weekend.
The SC Cougars return to action this afternoon as they travel to Father McGivney for a rematch of last year’s 1s State Title Game. McGivney is now a 2a school and is the 3rd seed in their sub-sectional behind Breese Central and Columbia. SC is the 3rd seed in their upcoming post season with North Clay and St Anthony ahead of them.
