The Salem Wildcats track team competed at the Mt Vernon Invitational on Monday. The first place finish for Salem came from the Fresh/Soph 4×100 team of Hopkins, Lang, Ettress and Thorton.
Salem got 2nd places from Ethan Pride in the high jump, Caleb Smith shot put and the varsity 4×200 relay team of Mayes, Smith, Kannon and Irvin. Also the Fresh/Soph 4×400 team of Thorton, Ettress, Greene and Beer.
Salem also got 3rd places out of the Fresh/Soph 4×200 team of Hopkins, Goff, Lang and Beer as well as Thorton in the 300 intermediate hurdles.
