Centralia’s Jeh”Chys Brown is now the new discus record holder for the Orphans with a throw of 171’1” breaking the old mark set by Don Wright in 1970 of 168’10.75”.

Vandalia’s Riley Ward has once again broken the school girls discus record. At the South Central Conferecne Meet, Riley had a best throw of 107’4.25” to beat the previous girls record of 104’9” set by Riley last year at the Newton Sectionals.
