Raccoon Wins Class S Boys Salem Regional, Girls 4th

The Class S regionals were held yesterday at SCHS with Raccoon winning the boys event with 151 points.  Qualifying for state by winning events were Tyler Carruthers long jump and 7th grade 100 and 200m, Luke Mayer 400, Carson Huggins in the 8th grade 100 as well as the 7th grade 4×200 relay team of Carruthers, Luke Carroway, Marquis Ettress and Michael Organ.

Finished 2nd for the boys and also moving on to State is Brody Elwood discus, Etress shot, Huggins hurdles, Caden Lamb 1600, Etress was 2nd in the 7th grade 100.  Also advancing was the Varsity Relay and Mile Relay.

The Raccoon girls were 4th overall.  Advancing to state were Kaylee Bowdler who won the long jump, Kylee Hall the 1600, Maya Braddy the shot and Emily Parrett was 2nd in the shot.
