After having the weekend off, the Salem Lady Cats open a busy week as they host Cahokia opponent Wood River to Tully Park.
The Salem Lady Cats along with Carlyle, Trenton and Greenville softball teams are coming together on Saturday, May 14th at Tully Park to raise money for the continued upkeep of the Addy & Friends All-Inclusive Playground. The day begins at 9:50 with the 1st pitches thrown out by some special kids. The first round of games will be played at 10am. In between games anyone can pay $1 to run the bases and then the 2nd round of games will be at 11:45. A portion of the concession stand proceeds will be donated to the playground fund. All teams have worked to raise money through a Hit-A-Thon.
