Five arrested on felony drug charges around Marion County

Five people were brought to the Marion County Jail on Thursday on felony drug charges.

28-year-old Slade Thompson of Rogers Street in Salem was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, and driving on a suspended license.  Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say after Thompson was stopped on a reckless driving complaint and driving on a suspended license, a generator stolen earlier in the day from a Henkels and McCoy tool truck in Junction City was allegedly recovered.

Two Salem residents were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 800 block of West Warmouth in Salem.  32-year-old Maleah Durham and 31-year-old Adam Durham of West Spruce in Salem were taken into custody after the Marion County K9 alerted on the vehicle.   Adam Durham was also ticketed for no valid license.

60-year-old Gina Thompson of Westline Road in Odin was arrested by Centralia Police for alleged possession of methamphetamine and possession of adult-use cannabis in a vehicle.

25-year-old Mallory Seals of South Pearl in Salem was arrested by Wamac Police for possession of a controlled substance.
