Christ Our Rock Track Has A Good Day

The Christ Our Rock track teams competed yesterday at the Greenville Comet Invitational.

On the boys side, the 4×800 team of Thomas Taylor, Zerek Koch, Elijah Gregory and Isaiah Lyons was 2^nd.  In the mile run, Gregory finished 2^nd in a PR of 5:13 and teammate Koch was 5^th.  Lyons was 5^th in the 800 and 4^th in the long jump.  Also Hayden Torrence was 3^rd in the discus.

The girls saw Sarah McKowen continue her dominance in the distance events placing 1^st in the 3200 in 12:45.8 and the 1600 in 5:50.4, both times were PR’s.  Emeline Rincker was first in the 100 hurdles and 2^nd in the 300 IM hurdles.  Rylee Brammier was 3^rd in the 3200 and 5^th in the 1600.  Abagail Meyer was 4^th in both the 1600 and 800.
